Giant Sea Kelp

Giant kelp is common along the coast of the northeastern Pacific Ocean, from Baja California north to southeast Alaska, and is also found in the southern oceans near South America, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.

Our kelp collection is crafted from high-quality polyfine, a soft and lightweight material designed specifically for aquatic environments. It is completely safe for all aquatic animals and contains no harmful substances.

The flexibility of polyfine allows the kelp to move naturally with the water flow, creating a realistic underwater look. At the same time, the material is durable and resistant to wear, making it ideal for both private aquariums and large public installations.

Unlike real plants, polyfine requires no maintenance, will not decay, and keeps its shape and color over time, even in saltwater environments.

There's different ways to install Giant sea kelp.

Basic version
The Giant Sea Kelp comes with a mounted peg for secure placement. The peg should be drilled into a rock or concrete base to ensure stability.
A set of two roots (one small and one large) is included and placed over the peg to create a natural, seamless finish.

Root footing version
This version includes a larger root base for a more integrated look. The root must be drilled into a solid rock to keep the kelp securely in place while maintaining a natural appearance.

Rock footing version
The kelp is pre-mounted on a rock base and ready to use. Simply place it in the aquarium—no drilling required.
This option allows for more flexibility, as the kelp can be moved naturally by aquatic life and water flow.
