Our artificial sponges are crafted from food-grade polyurethane, making them completely non-toxic and safe for all types of aquariums, both freshwater and saltwater. Polyurethane offers exceptional durability and resistance to impact, ensuring long-lasting performance. While slight color fading may occur due to varying aquarium conditions, we intentionally apply a slightly enhanced coloring to ensure the sponges maintain their vibrant appearance over time.

Each artificial sponge comes with a convenient peg for easy installation, cleaning, or repositioning. Simply drill an 8mm hole into the hard object or artificial reef that will serve as the base. Clean out any dust from the hole, then insert the peg with the black ring into place. The sponge is now securely installed and held in position by the black ring.
