Inspired by the way giant kelp anchors itself in the wild, the Root Holdfast creates a realistic transition between the artificial kelp and the rock or structure it is mounted to.

The Root Holdfast is an ideal choice for aquariums where visual realism is a priority. Rather than a visible peg, the root-like structure gives your aquarium kelp a more organic appearance, helping the plant look naturally established within the kelp aquarium environment.

For the most natural proportions and visual balance, we recommend selecting the Root Holdfast according to the length of your Giant Sea Kelp:

• Ø5 cm → Terminal Leaf and 75 cm

• Ø10 cm → Giant Sea Kelp up to 105 cm

• Ø15 cm → Giant Sea Kelp 135 cm and above
